South Sweden Nature Trip, From Trelleborg To Beautiful Stockholm

To begin this beautiful time in Sweden, it is time for a short hike in a forest. This location is perfect after you arrive from the ferry. It is only a 30minutes drive to arrive from Trelleborg. It has a lot to offer, check out the blog post about this place.

This nature reserve is perfect to go for a lovely hike, but it is also perfect to ride your mountain bike. This parking lot is perfect to stay for the night and enjoy your day in the reserve. There are garbage bins and a dry toilet available on the parking lot.

The road towards this place can be a bit scary if you are just in Sweden. It is a small dirt road, but accessible for all vehicles. It has multiple places where you can stop to let upcoming traffic pass. But if you go during the week, you will probably not see anyone. There is this big parking lot where you can stay for the night, and you can go on multiple hikes in the beautiful forest. There is an information building and a dry toilet available.

This parking area is right next to the lake and road. You will not be disturbed by the road, but instead hear the beautiful birds singing. It is a small parking lot, which can be full in the weekend when people are going on the lake with their boats. The lake has beautiful views of the island Ivö Klack. Also, the sunset is lovely and this is a perfect place to rest. There is also a small playground for the children.

It is time for the next lake. This parking is in the middle of a forest. If you walk 2 min you will arrive at a beautiful lake. You have multiple hiking routes in the area, but the one around the lake is definitely worth it. It is a lovely short hike, and you will be able to enjoy all the sounds, smells and colors of the nature. We even saw a deer during the night walking in the forest next to the parking area.

This parking lot in Kyrkhult is perfect for campers. It is an official place with lake view. They even have recycling bins available and the view of the lake is stunning. There is also a toilet available on 5 minutes walking.

This place is amazing, it is next to the lake. The stunning views of the place make it spectacular to camp here. There are multiple places available for people, so a place for everyone.

For us, it was time to get some electricity and to empty the toilet. This was one of the places with high ratings and a lovely price. It is only 170sek, and it can be paid in euros as well, but you can only pay in cash. It is a beautiful, clean place beside the lake.

This place is close to Kosta, but it is in the middle of a forest. You will have to drive some dirt roads and small roads, but it will be worth it. You will end up at a beautiful location in the middle of a forest where the road ends. We had no luck in spotting any animals during our time there, but we also did not see any other cars or humans. There are a lot of blueberry plants, so if you are there in the right season, you will be lucky. We loved this little quiet place.

Need to fill up after being in the middle of nowhere? Then this is the perfect place to fill your water tank and dump the grey and black water. You can even stay here for the night if you like.

The views of this place are stunning. It is a small location, but we were with three other campers. It is a perfect stop if you do not want to drive longer that day.

After your rest time in the middle of nowhere, you will be fully charged to do a beautiful hike in Ankarsrum. This hike took us approximately 4 hours to complete, and it has amazing views of multiple lakes. You might also spot some wildlife on the hike.

It is time to charge the battery again and to empty and refill the water. This paid place is next to the sea and has amazing views. It is just 170sek, and you can pay online. Also, the 10sek extra for a front row view is definitely worth it.

This spot is next to a lake and might be harder to reach, but it is worth it. It is only a short time on a dirt road to reach the amazing place. But that will make you able to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the lake.

The parking lot of this area is perfect for a camper. Because, it is only a small hike towards the nature reserve, where you will find an awesome bird watch tower. This is a perfect stop along the route, or you can decide to sleep at this area. Although it can be noisy from the road. Since it is just outside the reserve, you are allowed to sleep.

This place is amazing for hike lovers. It has a lot of beautiful hikes, and you will find information about those on the signs. You are allowed to sleep on the parking area or if it is full, you can decide to go to the ski area nearby. During your time here, you can hike around the lake or sit at the beach of the lake.

You can find multiple nature reserves around this area, but this is the only free place where it is allowed to stay overnight. Likewise, you can find the rules on the information sign at the place. There are some longer walks, but you can also decide to walk towards the beach/boat area. The place has a dry toilet and drinking water available.

This beautiful place is next to a lake and has multiple fire pits. It also has a beautiful volleyball field and people swim in the lake. It is a perfect location before or after the busy Stockholm. Also, after this day you will be fully charged to discover Stockholm.
