The <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/HmASSJg55AQ9jCGp8\">D907<\/a> is perfect with a camper, we went from <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/iGkU6gthj41Dk8ct9\">Aguessac<\/a> towards Le <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/SPpmwDtJUD6XaHfi9\">Rozier<\/a> which means you drive at the edge and not next to the rocks that sometimes hang over the road. So be cautious if driving the other way around with a high camper. There are multiple points where you can spot and take a beautiful picture. I highly suggest taking your time to drive through this beautiful Gorges.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex did in this area was Rocher du Capluc. This was also one of the most beautiful hikes we did in France. It took us more than 4 hours to complete, but that included long stops to enjoy the views. Check out what you need to bring and a little sneak peek of the hike itself. <\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-to-bring-on-the-hike\">What to bring on the hike <\/h3>\n\n\n<p>There are a couple of things that are useful and necessary to bring on this hike: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hiking shoes; I highly encourage you to wear good hiking shoes, since the path can be rough at some points, and it is a long trail. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water; Bring more water than you might think. You should definitely bring 1L per person, especially on a warm day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Head torch; Bring a head torch if you want to view the cave a little deeper, but it is not possible to go in very far. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zoom lens; Want to make a beautiful picture of the vultures? Then do not forget to bring a zoom lens for your camera. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food; You definitely want some snacks during this hike or have your lunch. Be aware, vultures are everywhere. So definitely bring some vegan food instead of attracting them with meat. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Route; Bring the route of the track with you. Make sure to download it offline or make screenshots. You have to be alert when it is time to descend, otherwise you will end up hiking even more hours.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swim clothes for a hot day; Want to take a dip in the end? You will be walking along the river at the end of the track, with multiple opportunities to take a dip in the water. href=\"http:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/trail\/france\/lozere\/le-rozier-ermitage-saint-pons?p=-1\">hike<\/a> begins with a climb up the hill, where you can decide if you take the path towards the viewpoint or continue the hike. It is definitely worth to take the path to the top for incredible views. You first have to face your fear of heights by going up four ladders which are pinned to the rocks. But once you got up there, it is all worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the climb down, you will return to the path and continue the walk. Following the path, you will soon enter a magnificent forest. Listen to the birds, you can hear the vultures screeching. You will have views of the rock formations and an old little village on the other side of the gorge. At some points during the hike, you can see ropes hanging from the cliffs. It is possible to climb up the rock at various points with proper gear and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What will amaze you even more, is a magnificent cave that you will have to pass through. It is not a big cave, so you don\u2019t necessarily have to bring your flashlights. After passing through, the hike continues through the forest and, after descending, along the river in the gorge. A sign at the spot indicates this for parking a camper there in the evening and night. From this parking lot, the hike is nearby.
