Er zijn meerdere wandelroutes beschikbaar, deze zijn aangegeven met verschillende symbolen en kleuren. We hebben de rode route die je naar het kasteel leidt gecombineerd met de gele route die het kasteel doorkruist, alles bij elkaar kostte het ons ongeveer 1,5 uur. Dit was een prachtige eerste wandeling in Zweden, en we vonden onze eerste dieren in het wild. Rondom dit bos kun je herten spotten, maar de muggen vind je makkelijker. Ze zullen je bijten als je stilstaat om rond te kijken. Daarom moet je een broek aantrekken en ervoor zorgen dat ze er niet doorheen kunnen. Ik kwam erachter dat mijn yogabroek niet beschermend genoeg is. Spuit ook wat DEET om je heen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze weg vliegen. Het heeft een tuin waar je rond kunt lopen. Aan de overkant van de weg achter het kasteel vind je de paardenstallen. Er is ook een klein caf\u00e9 waar je iets kunt drinken of eten.
