En na heen en weer gewandeld te hebben naar het blauwe meer, ben ik het met deze keuze eens. Het is zo'n mooie plek om te bezoeken! Hoewel de wandeling behoorlijk druk kan zijn, kun je gemakkelijk een rustig plekje aan het meer vinden om te genieten van het uitzicht op de gletsjer. Het is gelegen in de Lyngen Alpen aan de Lyngenfjord. De wandeling is relatief vlak voor het gebied en geschikt voor alle leeftijden, als je op oneffen terrein kunt lopen. Het is een betaalde parkeerplaats voor 254 NOK per dag. Voor het betalen van jouw parkeerplaats heb je de EasyPark App nodig. Dit is een gebruiksvriendelijke applicatie waarmee je jouw parkeertijd kunt starten en be\u00ebindigen en die automatisch wordt belast met jouw kaart. De app zorgt ervoor dat je alleen betaalt voor de uren die je op de locatie hebt geparkeerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De wandeling duurt ongeveer 3 uur heen en terug, daarom is het belangrijk om voldoende water mee te nemen. Er is geen schaduw op het hele pad en het kan erg heet zijn op een zonnige dag. Neem gemiddeld 1L per persoon om zeker te zijn dat je genoeg hebt. Pak een snack in voor als je aankomt bij het meer, of neem je lunch mee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het pad richting het blauwe meer heeft goede wandelschoenen nodig, want 3\/4 van het pad loop je over losse stenen. Het is gemakkelijk om je enkel te verstuiken als je geen goede schoenen draagt. Het duurt ongeveer 3 uur heen en terug met een pauze aan het meer. Het pad is in het begin goed onderhouden, totdat je een riviertje moet oversteken. Het kan een beetje modderig zijn, en dan kom je bij de losse stenen. Vanaf dit punt duurt het ongeveer 1 uur om bij het meer te komen. Daarom raad ik je aan om goede wandelschoenen te dragen, anders zou je gemakkelijk je enkel kunnen verstuiken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om er zeker van te zijn dat je het pad volgt, moet je uitkijken voor de roodgekleurde stenen. De rode stenen leiden je naar het meer. Het einde van het pad bestaat uit klimmen over grotere stenen tot je bij het meer komt. Aan het meer vind je meerdere plekken om te zitten en te genieten van het uitzicht.
