How long to soak Chia seeds in plant based milk
You might wonder if you need to soak chia seeds before making chia pudding. The soaking of the chia seeds is the creation of the pudding. So you do not soak them before making it, but because you soak them, you will create the pudding. You will need double the amount of liquid compared to the chia seeds to create a good consistency for the pudding. How long do you need to soak chia seeds? You only need to soak the chia seeds for 15 minutes, and you will see a pudding consistency already. Don’t want any preparations in the morning? How to make mango chia pudding yourself
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup Soy Milk
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Sugar (or use vanilla powder if you want sugar free)
- 1/2 Mango
Instructions
- In a bowl add your chia seeds, vanilla sugar and soy milk. Stir it good, otherwise the chia seeds will clot together. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes. You can also decide to make it the night before and leave it overnight in the refrigerator. If you make overnight chia seeds, make sure to use a bowl with a lid.
- Cut the mango in small cubes. Take the chia pudding from the fridge and add the mango cubes on top. Enjoy your mango chia pudding. If you want it sweeter, you add drizzle maple syrup on top of it.
