Switch up your Overnight Berry Oatmeal
You can switch up this recipe in multiple ways. Here are some examples:
- Completely milk; Instead of using 50/50 plant based milk and water, you can decide to use only plant based milk with the same quantity as the water.
- Less liquid; Want it more firm? Use less water to create a thicker overnight oatmeal bowl.
- Change the fruits; Instead of using mixed berries, you can choose to only use strawberries or raspberries. You can also completely change it by using fresh fruits like banana or apple instead. Peaches or nectarines will work great as well. Another option is to add in dry fruits like raisins, apricots or dates.
- Sweeter; Is it not sweet enough? Try adding 1 teaspoon of sugar or maple syrup before soaking.
- Spices; You can also change the flavor by adding in some cinnamon or vanilla. Use 1/4 teaspoon of the spice you want to try.
