How to use Sticky Tempeh Slices
This recipe for Versatile Quick Sticky Tempeh is a basic recipe that can be used to create DIFFERENT meals. One of my favorite ways to use this recipe are these:
- Sticky Tempeh Sandwiches; You could add the tempeh slices to a sandwich. My favorite way is to add some vegan mayonnaise and sriracha sauce, then add the tempeh slices. On top of them add some cucumber slices, tomato and lettuce. This is a perfect lunch when you have a long day ahead.
- Tempeh Lunch Wraps; Just like the sandwiches, you can create the lunch wraps. Instead of using bread, you can use wraps and fill them with the same ingredients. You can use my crispy ‘chicken’ wrap recipe and substitute the ‘chicken’ with these tempeh slices.
- Salad with Tempeh topping; The tempeh slices are also a perfect topping for any salad. Just cut the slices in smaller pieces and sprinkle them on top of your salad. It adds protein to your salad and some extra flavors.
- Quick Noodles stir-fry; This last one is one of my favorites as well. Cut the slices of tempeh in smaller blocks and add them to your noodles stir-fry. Do not bake them twice, add them to the stir-fry at the last moment.
With all these ideas, I think it is now time to make your Sticky Tempeh.
