Picturesque town Mojácar in Spain

The city is popular for the beautiful white houses, but it also contains a powerful history. The city was a blooming trading place for many years. After that, multiple battles occurred, and different settlements took over the city. From the 19th century, the city began to decline due to extreme drought, people emigrated to Northern Spain. Nowadays, the city primarily focus on tourism and the picturesque vibe it gives. Want to stay in Mojácar for a couple of days? Find out the best hotels and apartments here on Booking.com.*

There are lots of flowers in the small streets, and the hills in the distance create a magical background. You can stroll around for an hour between the white houses. You could also settle down and get a drink or meal in one of the restaurants in the city center of Mojácar. Make sure to explore the less popular parts of the town by walking a little further after you got to the center and go up the hill towards the mirador. Here, the streets are less crowded, and you will hear the birds singing. From this point you will have amazing views, which I will tell you more about.
