Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 2 cup uncooked pasta
- 2 Onions
- 4 clove Garlic
- 500 g Mushrooms
- 200 ml Soy cooking cream
- 3 tbsp Nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp Cashew butter (Optional for more creaminess)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Chili flakes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. In the meantime, chop the onions and garlic in small pieces. When the pasta is ready, set it aside until the sauce is ready.
Bake the onions and garlic in a pan by using oil. While they are getting light brown, slice up the mushrooms. Add the mushroom to the same pan and bake them until golden brown.
While the mushrooms, onions and garlic are getting brown; combine the soy cream, nutritional yeast, cashew butter, salt, pepper and chili flakes in a bowl. Mix these ingredients until you get a creamy sauce texture.
When the sauce is ready, the pasta is cooked and the mushrooms are brown, it is time to combine it all. Add in the sauce to the mushrooms in the pan. Stir it through and then add in the cooked pasta. Give it a good stir and make sure the sauce heats up. If it is all heated up, it is time to serve it.
