Make your own Vegan Parmesan cheese alternative

It takes less than five minutes and only four ingredients. You can store this cashew based vegan Parmesan cheese alternative for weeks in the fridge. So, bulk prep this batch and enjoy it during the weeks to come.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Put the raw cashew nuts, nutritional yeast, garlic powder and salt in a blender or small food processor. Grind it for a couple of seconds, approximately 10 seconds. Don't over blend it, then it becomes oily and sticky.
  • The vegan Parmesan is done. Store it in an airtight container for up to a week in room temperature, or a couple of weeks in the fridge. Sprinkle it over your favorite food.
