Variations for the Plant Based Wrap

This recipe is perfect to create variations. You can switch up the ingredients and create another wrap or another dish. Check out my suggestions:

  • Plant based substitutes; Are you not able to find vegan minced meat? Try vegan chicken pieces instead. You can also decide to use crumbled tofu or soy protein instead. If you can’t find any of those, you can also leave it out of the recipe.
  • Sauce it up; Want to add more spice? Add sriracha sauce or your favorite hot sauce. Cravings for plant based cheese? You can add grated plant based cheese to the wrap or decide to create a vegan cheese sauce (recipe coming soon!).
  • Bowl; Instead of creating a wrap, you can add the filling, rice and serving ingredients into a bowl and eat it like that. You can also eat the tortilla on the side or use something else to eat it with.
  • Crunch Wrap; Want more crunch? You can always fill half of the tortilla and then fold the other half over and fry the wrap in a pan on high heat for about 30 seconds each side.
  • No rice; You can always decide to leave out the rice, if you do not desire it. The portions will be smaller in this case.
