What to do in Ronda for a day ?

Ronda has a lot to offer besides the restaurants and shops. The little streets with the beautiful white houses give a lovely vibe to the city. Also, Ronda is small enough to visit it in one day. The beautiful tiles on the wall with Viajeros Romanticos, meaning romantic travelers, illustrates how this city developed and grew to this loving atmosphere. The tiles contain reviews of travelers from the 19th century, one of them is: “The air of the mountains, the rising sun, the rising appetite, the variety of picturesque persons and things we met, and the impending danger, made a delightful life.’’. The city has multiple little parks where you can have a break during your city walk in Ronda. Popular sights in Ronda are listed underneath, click the links and find the location on the map of Ronda.

Parking in Ronda, Spain

We would definitely recommend visiting Ronda with your camper or car if you are in Spain. Entering the city is not a problem, because the roads are wide enough. Parking overnight in Ronda is not a problem, this sleeping spot is good for all campers and cars. Navigate towards the parking in Ronda and make sure to take the A-397 and then enter the street along the Lidl. The Lidl also has a perfect parking big enough for campers to do your groceries. Just remember, the Lidl is closed on Sundays.

I would not suggest driving further into Ronda. As you can see on the pictures, the streets are narrow and absolutely not camper or car friendly. On the free parking in Ronda, a friendly man came to ask for some money to guard the campers. We gave it, and he was very thankful, but it is not mandatory. The views from this parking are great and within 15 minutes walking you are in the old city center of Ronda.
