Besides the fact that it taste amazing, it is also easy and cheap to make. Moreover, the combination of breadcrumbs and vegan Parmesan gives a cheesy vibe to the chicken burgers. At this point, it is time to find out how to make them and how to use these burgers.
How to make vegan chicken burger
Home-made vegan burgers do not have to be complicated. In fact, by using my easy Seitan recipe, you will be surprised how easy and cheap it is to create your own burgers. Firstly, to create the base for the burgers, you need to follow the easy seitan recipe. Then, you need to use this recipe to create a delicious burger. Moreover, the breadcrumb layer will give extra flavor to the burgers. To make it, just lay them in plant milk, flip them, and then transfer them to the breadcrumb mixture. After flipping them again, they are ready to be fried.
However, if you are allergic to cashew nuts, there is an alternative. You can also substitute the vegan Parmesan with more breadcrumbs. To substitute the flavor, add in some garlic flakes.

Vegan Chicken Burger, how to make the best Chicken Substitute
Ingredients
- 1 batch Vegan Seitan Recipe
- 1/3 cup Plant-based milk
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Vegan Parmesan recipe
- 1 tbsp Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Make sure to first prepare one batch of the Easy Seitan Recipe and at least half a batch of Vegan Parmesan Recipe.
- You can decide to create thinner burgers by slicing each of the 6 burgers that you created with the seitan recipe in half.
- Put the milk in a dish and the breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese in a separate dish. Put each burger first in the milk and flip it around. Then transfer it to the breadcrumb mixture and flip it to completely cover it.
- In a frying pan, add the olive oil and let it heat up. If the pan is hot, put in the vegan chicken. Let it fry on medium heat for approximately 4 minutes each side, until golden brown.
- The burgers are ready to eat. You can add them to your favorite dish or to a bun. See the article for examples. Enjoy!
